General Hilarity

I was just thinkin' that, when we're all together, it's a recipe for hilarity. Here are a few highlights of Sunday dinner (Dan's birthday):

"That's quite a big bowl o' fruit," says Jesse.
"What's a bolo fruit?" asks Muti. "I saw one at the store yesterday, and didn't know what it was."

"Dude, have you seen (something from a Circuit City ad)?" says Jesse. Silence follows, and we all look at him. "Dude, as in Mike," he clarified.

"Hey," says Jesse. "Anyone want to go HDTV shopping?" Silence follows again.
"I will," Melissa sighs, as if doing a duty no one else wants to.
"Sorry," says Jesse, "I should've said, 'Dude - want to go HDTV shopping?'"

And then the hilarious situation where we drew names: someone made the comment that the boys should trade for boys' names, and the girls should trade names. That way it would be easier to shop. Some of us rejected the idea, because that would ruin the tradition. So we all drew from the same basket...but started laughing as we realized that only girls had picked girls' names, and all the boys had picked boys' names. Totally unintentional!

So I picked that picture up there, because that was a way fun trip with so many of us. I'm serious about Disneyland guys...wouldn't that be a blast?
