Christmas Shopping with Mar & Addie

| | Comments (4)
So I headed downtown today to meet up with Mar, Jesse, Meloo and of course little Addie for lunch at Siegfried's today, followed by a little shopping excursion at the Gateway with Mar and Addie.

First stop was J Crew-- so we had a little fun with the full size mirrors (could Addie be any more adorable?)

dec5_08a.jpgYou can see she's lively and happy...

dec5_08b.jpg After Brookstone and Apple, however, she's just about all funned out-- she has even less stamina for shopping than me, it seems... or maybe she just thinks the Apple store is real boring, hehe. Here she's fading...

dec5_08c.jpgAnnnnnnnd gone! Hahaha... look how sweet she is.

dec5_08d.jpgdec5_08e.jpgdec5_08f.jpgAnd you can't blame Mar for giggling a little. Poor kid didn't really have any other way to sleep than to slump over on her side like that. Even with her back to Addie, Mar was tuned in to her movements and position while they made their way around the mall... and Mar knew when she was fading, haha. It was only a little cat nap, though-- she was awake in a matter of minutes.

AHHHH! I just tried to leave you a comment and yet again this stupid thing rejected me! We'll see if it works this time...If not, you're out of luck. OK, so I was saying how I am jealous that you get to meet up with family for a fun, quick lunch and Christmas shopping - and I also extended you an open invitation out here to Kentucky if the mood hits and you just have to try Hot Browns with some Derby Pie for dessert. :) Miss you. Hopefully I'm not too much of a moron to mess up the tricky text to submit this comment...

Cute cute cute cute. Addie is sooo cute! Sounds like a fun trip to Gateway. And I'm not seeing any pictures of Addie crying so it was a fun trip for her too I'm guessing! :)

Liz! Success! So it's the captcha thing that you're having a hard time with, huh? Tricksy... and hey I appreciate the invite-- sounds like there's some culture I'm missing out on over there...

Emily-- yeah I think she cried for 2 seconds, and it was practically in her sleep while we were walking back to the train just following that last picture. It was like "wahhhh.... zzzzz..." right back to sleep, it was kinda funny really, like she was crying in her sleep.

Even when Mel poked her in the eye with her bottle she did little more than act surprised, hehe...

So cute! I love little kids in hats. Find anything cool in the Apple store? They just put a Lego store in our mall here and for once in his life, Jared is actually interested in shopping now. Merry Christmas!
