Imperial Ear Candy: DT770 Darth Beyers
I did a little photoshoot this evening with my latest acquisition...
That's right, V3 Darth Beyers. Beyerdynamic DT770 - 80 ohm headphones that have been woodied (modified with wood - in this case, bloodwood), re-cabled, and tweaked. Listening to the Imperial March... these are truly fit for a Sith Lord. They leave no doubt of who's in charge, buddy. I think maybe the highs have been tamed a little too much, but the bass and mids are gorgeous -- but then, supposedly they need to be broken in for 100 hours or so. We shall see... in any case, they LOOK awesome.

i got excited hearing that music over the internal speakers of this dell pc at work! you know you've got something special when you forget to eat.

You know, I'm not sure what had me sucked in more-- the headphones or the photoshoot. Either way, I was pretty absorbed in it. I could spend so much time taking pictures and editing them.
