One more reason why Hawaii rocks.

So, I'm sitting here at work eating some Hawaiian bbq from a place called Lanikai grill (some kalua pork, bbq chicken and bbq beef w/ rice), and a coworker buys me a pepsi. I take a drink, and DANG it tastes good. A little more satisfying than usual. I thought maybe it just compliments the hawaiian mix plate lunch really well.

Then I remembered my last trip to Oahu. I recall Pepsi was the cola of choice there-- Coke wasn't nearly as available as Pepsi was.

Yes. Just another reason why Hawaii / Hawaiian's rock. None of this "Coke" garbage. ;-)

Wow, that really is a very satisfying looking pepsi, all nice and cold :) I support your pepsi consumtion, it is job security for my hubby :)

well, i gotta agree that hawaii rocks - but i gotta disagree that it's because of pepsi. but as long as Lew's hubby depends on pepsi staying in business i guess i can put my ill feelings aside and... well, no, i can't lie. i still think pepsi sucks.

hawaii may have lots of pepsi, but the stuff was born in north carolina ;)

the south is home to all the good soda. we have cheerwine (like cherry dr. pepper--very sweet) and sun drop (like mtn. dew but also very sweet), which i really miss in utah. of course, you can't find apple beer anywhere in nc...

i agree HAWAII ROCKS. Yes the food is good, but HAWAII ROCKS!!! August can't get here soon enough. Actually I am hoping matt will send me and the kids out with his mom in the next few weeks. That would be pretty cool. As for pepsi, eh, take it or leave it, give me sprunch anyday! Now that is an island style meal, sprite/fuit punch all the way baby!!!

but what what what?? Did you move to Hawaii too? When did this happen? Am I just totally clueless? I wish I lived in Hawaii. It's much better than Arizona, I'm sure.

Hawaii actually leaves most places in the dust, Travis. But come winter, I'd rather be in Arizona than Utah, at least. (And if you were asking me if I moved to Hawaii... only in my dreams ;) )

yeah, after I re-read your post I realized that you weren't IN Hawaii, you were just reminiscing about it. Boy do I feel sheepish. Oh well. I think we should all move to Hawaii. Or Fiji. Prolly Fiji, because I hear it is less crowded. What sayest thou, O my brother?
