Guster (for Heeble)

More blurry camera phone shots because I'm camera-less at the moment.
So as Heeble mentioned on his blog a few days ago, we hit the Guster concert in Orem last Friday. What a blast-- there's just something about live performances that are great. Of course, some bands suck live-- Guster however was great, and as Jeff mentioned, it was fun to watch the drummer play those bongos with his bare hands.
I got to hear some of my favorites, some songs that I'm not as familiar with but gained new appreciation for, and even heard some new music. They have a new album coming out in June and I'm looking forward to it. I'm not sure that I heard any songs from their first album, Parachute, though, which I'd have liked. Also, for some reason it felt like a short concert (and I'm not sure why it started an hour late), but I have to wonder if that's because Jack Johnson spoiled us so bad when we went to see him at the Gorge last August.
In any case, I know they didn't play it last Friday Jeff, but here's a bootleg of a live performance of Fa Fa for you. It's not bad, tho he sounds a little off key in the beginning.

ah, thanks for the recording of Fa Fa. and yes, Jack did spoil us. Best... Concert... EVER!
