Fluffy Gus
Hehehe... well, for those of you who know our dog who's still kickin', Gus-- I took some pictures a couple weeks ago and have been meaning to post them. See, we let Gus go an aweful long time without getting him groomed, he was in bad need of a haircut, as you can see.
Well, his hair was so unkempt that it had become matted pretty much everywhere on his body. I knew he was gonna get a close shave to be able to get rid of the matted hair, hehe... this should give you an idea of how crazy his hair was...
We seriously had to trim the hair that covered his eyes or else he would be more or less blind...
Well, recently he got his hair cut...
BWAHAHAHAH! I laughed so hard when I came home to see this shaved mutt!
He almost looks like a white Chihuahua, so ugly, heheh...
He's even been nicknamed "Chemo-doggy". Poor guy, he walks around all embarassed, I think he knows he's naked... Either that or all the laughing and guffawing at him is getting to him, hehe. It's cold, too, having no hair like that!
I think the saddest part is that poor, naked tail! He's definitely a pink rat. :) But a cute one, if only because he's Gus...
OH yeah. That was the first time EVER that his tail has been shaved, hehehe...
it is true! he went from looking like a poodle to looking like a chihuahua in one five minute shave. poor thing.

That is so not right. It is the cold season now, not the time for hair cuts, that is what summer was for. Your poor dog is going to need to stay indoors and by heaters till his hair grows back to a decent lenght. So sad, who cut his hair, any respectable groomers shouldnt' have cut it that short, not this time of the year and not in this area... tsk tsk
Richter the groomer had no choice, hehe... it was matted at skin level-- it was all or nothing, hehe. I'd have more sympathy if he's stop purposely peeing in the basement. He went out 3 times the other day before coming downstairs to pee at the bottom of the stairwell (where you can't MISS it). He is a little monster... hehe.
Evenlittle monsters need to stay warm hun, but I hear you on that level, if it truly was matted so badly, then there was not much else you could have done... poor gus

Poor Gus looks like the Taco Bell dog. In that first picture with short hair, he looks like the Taco Bell dog who has eaten too many tacos! He is still cute though. Ty told me I had to take a peek. Take care. Carmel
