"They're all out! Only had diesel..."
Joel mentioned the price of gas in his post yesterday, reminded me that I had taken these pics a week ago...
So yes, gas prices are at an all-time high. Who else is feeling the pain? This was a first for me to have to pay over $30 to fill up my car. I mean it's not like a drive a friggin van or SUV... I guess the Maxima's tank is big enough.
And this was one of the cheaper prices I was able to find, ouch.
and i thought gas here was expensive b/c i had to pay $15 to fill up my gas tank. our gas was only 1.59 so i guess i got off cheap.
Yeah, that sounds about right... gas was probably 1.59 or so for regular about a month ago... what IS the deal with these gas prices? And how much is it normally in NC?
15 dollars... that's not a complaint, that's a dream come true. At least we don't live in California sloanie... we could be paying well over 2 dollars a gallon.
I'm paying less than a $1.50 for gas here but I gas up in South Carolina as it's usually five cents more in NC. Prices are usually the worst in California. However, I did pay over 2 bucks while in New York - ouch.
Yeah, guaranteed to be more expensive in Cali-- but one reason for that is that they use higher octane gas there. Premium here is probably between regular and mid-grade there... then again, things may just be more expensive in general there...
I think I saw that the lower grade in California is the same as the mid-grade in Utah. Therefore, our premium-grade is probably the same as their mid-grade. For what that’s worth. I remember seeing gas for over $2 a gallon in Hawaii TWO YEARS AGO, so I can only imagine what they’re suffering right now…
Yeah I imagine that Hawaii would be killer. I guess they would have to ship it all in by tanker and it's a little out of the way.
